Help With My Resume, Helped Me Get a Good Job
"I wanted to apply for a job but needed a resume and had never done one before. I contacted the Career Center, and found out what information to put down and how to organize it. My resume helped me get that job. The Gavilan staff who worked with me was available, patient and interested in me, and that helped me feel motivated."

Career Services Helped Me Gain Employment
"I recently graduated with my Administration of Justice Associates degree, I finally made it. After graduation, I applied for an internship with the Superior Court of California San Benito County and after a stressful interview, I got it! I've learned so much. After one month I was promoted. I've helped turn the court paperless and archive records. I now head our social media efforts which improves our community outreach. This experience has opened so many doors for me. I'm now going to get my bachelor's at San Jose State and hope to go to law school to achieve my goal of becoming an attorney." - Gavilan student
