To receive federal financial aid (Pell Grant, FSEOG, Cal Grant, Federal Work-Study, and Student Loans) students are required to declare an eligible program of study, or major. Eligible programs of study (majors) are defined as associate degree programs and *certificate programs which are at minimum a year in length, lead to gainful employment, and are approved by the US Department of Education.
Eligible programs are:
Associate in Arts (AA)
Associate in Science (AS)
Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT)
*Certificate of Achievement (CA)
The following programs are NOT eligible for Financial Aid programs such as Pell, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Cal Grant, Full-Time Success Grants, Federal Work-Study and Loans:
