GOTT: Gavilan Online Teacher Training

We offer facilitated and self paced GOTT courses. Check the calendar above for facilitated courses. GOTT courses available anytime:

GOTT Boot Camp (self-paced)- Gav Teaching Online Basics . This course is now required for all online teachers at Gavilan.
GOTT A Teaching With Canvas (self-paced) - A detailed look at how to use the Canvas software/website for online teaching.
GOTT B Basic iLearn (self-paced) - This course will dig deeper into Canvas tools to teach hybrid or fully online
GOTT C Beyond the Basics (self-paced) In this course you will expand your knowledge of Canvas tools and become more familiar with some advanced teaching tools.

@One Training Resources

@One - Online Network of Educators has training sessions available For course descriptions, go to their site. Self paced courses: FREE. 3 unit: $85 and 1 unit: $45.

Vision Resource Center

The College offers all types of professional development through the Vision Resource Center portal. Accounts are FREE to CC staff and faculty.
