March 2022 Guided Pathways Newsletter
We are approaching the middle of the spring semester and our Guided Pathways workgroups have been busy working on their individual projects. We are also gearing up to attend the California Guided Pathways 2.0 Institute, held in Costa Mesa in late April, where we will get to exchange ideas with other colleges and learn about practices that have been effective in their Guided Pathways rollouts.
This month we are highlighting our Onboarding team's work. Our current co-leads, Enna Trevathan and Kyle Hull, have led the group in planning a series of enrollment events called "Smart Starts". During these events new, returning and continuing students will receive assistance in completing any or all the steps to becoming a fully-enrolled Gavilan College student. The events will be held on:
- Mon. May 9th, 5:30pm-8:30pm (Gilroy)
- Wed. May 11th, 5:30pm-8:30pm (Gilroy)
- Tue. May 17th, 5:30pm-8:30pm (Hollister)
- Sat. May 21st, 9:00am-12:00pm (Gilroy)
