Career Exploration and Experience
The Career Exploration and Experience Team is working on integrating career exploration and experiences into each student's instructional program, and building out campus-wide resources that support students and faculty, and are a point of contact for employers

Our focus areas are:
Support to faculty and counselors by providing them with a “toolkit” to help them further embed career exploration in their interactions with students. An upcoming CAP workshop in April will be an opportunity to develop career exploration strategies specific to the different CAP needs.
A redesigned Career Services website that is an accessible resource for students, faculty, staff and employers, where internships and jobs can be posted, students can access career development assistance and faculty can get resources they can use in the classroom or through a Canvas shell.
A revised staff position to support students, faculty and employers, and an organizational structure that shows the connection of this position to other existing positions so there is greater capacity and coordination of career exploration and services across the college.
A career exploration services map that shows how instruction, counseling, staff support and technology come together from a student’s perspective during the educational program. We want students to have an accessible, supported and easily-navigable path to identify their career interests, gain experiences, and be ready to pursue their goals, either at their transfer school or by directly going into a quality job.
