Does your email say it has not been configured yet or reports some problem? Several students have reported this problem and there is a workaround.
Go directly to www.gmail.com and login with your email account. (example email@example.com)
This takes you to the myGav login page - now login with your GNumber and PIN. (example G00xxx123, 061287)
Accept the next screen. (Note: you only have to do this once.)
If you have a Gavilan email account, this will open your Gavilan email for you.
After refreshing the page, you should now see your email on the myGav page as well. This is not always the case though, it may take a few days to activate.
If your email is still not working after these steps, if you can't see it on gmail.com, please email the webmaster at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name and GNumber.
