What is “Job is not available for Acknowledgement at this time. Please retry at a later date.”?
This indicates that your department is still reviewing your contract details. Once your contract has been finalized, the department will make it available for your review and acknowledgement. Please contact your supervisor for details.
I see some of my assignment(s), but not all of the them. Who do I contact?

Can I acknowledge a couple of assignments or do I need to acknowledge all assignments?
You may acknowledge only the assignment(s) to which you agree. Contact your supervisor for details related to questions you may have on any other assignments.
What happens if I do not acknowledge my contract or acknowledge late?
Not acknowledging your contract on time may result in delayed pay for the semester.
How is flex time calculated?
Flex time is automatically calculated based on your load. Article 26 in the GCFA collective bargaining agreement outlines Part-Time Faculty Professional Ancillary Activities.
Please note: There is no flex obligation calculated for summer or winter terms.
Where are stipends or release time?
Stipends, release time and any other additional work are not reflected in your contract. These assignments are submitted separately by your department to the Human Resources Department.
Who see the “Comments”?
Currently comments are not seen by your supervisor. Please contact your supervisor directly with comments or questions.
Can I acknowledge my contract from home?
Yes! You may acknowledge your contract from home or from any mobile device on which you can access Self-Service Banner (SSB).
Who do I contact if I do not agree with the assignments?
Please contact your supervisor.
Who do I contact if I think the compensation is incorrect?
Please contact Human Resources and they will work with your supervisor to resolve any issues related to your compensation.
Do I need to acknowledge my contract every term?
You must acknowledge your contract(s) every semester.
I am a Full-Time Faculty member. Why does my summer contract show a contract type of Part-Time?
Due to the fact that summer sessions are not included in the regular academic year, all faculty teaching during the summer will be assigned Part-Time contract types.
Where is the “Faculty Acknowledgment” checkbox?
The “Faculty Acknowledgment” checkbox is located on the top of each assignment section. Please note that you must check the box for each assignment before clicking “Acknowledge Selected Positions”, which is located on the bottom of the screen.
When will I know that my assignment is ready to be acknowledged?
You will receive an email from Human Resources prior to the start of each term.
Included in this email will be instructions and deadlines by which you must acknowledge your contract. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in a substantial delay in receiving your pay.
Will I continue receiving a paper contract in addition to acknowledging the online contract?
No, the online contract process is now replacing the paper based contracts. If changes to your assignments occur after you have acknowledged your contract, a new online contract will be issued by your department for you to acknowledge.
