Mon, June 14	SIX-WEEK SUMMER SESSION CLASSES BEGIN
Mon, June 14	DEADLINE TO SUBMIT CA RESIDENCY DOCUMENTATION
Tues, June 15 Online until 11:59pm	DEADLINE TO REGISTER/ADD A CLASS Early or late start classes will have different deadlines. Please check with Admissions & Records for specific Dates.
Wed, June 16 Online until 11:59pm	DEADLINE TO DROP WITH A REFUND Fees will be refunded when 6 week summer session courses are officially dropped by this date. Early/late start courses must be dropped before 10% of the course meetings have passed. For one or two-day classes, this date will occur before the start of the course.
Wed, June 16 Online until 11:59pm	“NRS” DEADLINE “No Record Shown”. Semester long-courses dropped by this date do not appear on the student’s permanent record. The “NRS” deadline for short-term courses is <20% of the class meetings. Please check with Admissions and Records for more information.
Thurs, June 24	DEADLINE for SELECTING GRADING OPTION Last day to select the Pass/No pass grade option for designated, 6 week summer session courses.
Thurs, June 24	LAST DAY TO REGISTER FOR AN INDEPENDENT STUDY Online registration See a counselor to complete a petition to graduate
Mon, July 5	INDEPENDENCE DAY HOLIDAY - No day or evening classes
Tues, July 14	“W” DEADLINE 6 week courses dropped by this date appear on the student’s permanent record with a notation of “W” for withdrawn. The “W” deadline for a short-term/extended term course is 75% of the course meetings
Last Day of Each Class	FINAL EXAMS
Fri, July 23	LAST DAY OF 6 WEEK CLASSES
Thurs, Aug 5	FINAL GRADES AVAILABLE ONLINE Grades and Unofficial transcripts available at my.gavilan.edu
Thurs, Aug 12	OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS AVAILABLE Official transcripts will include Summer grades as of this date. Unofficial transcripts are available on MyGav. Please see Transcript webpage for online ordering information. Check with Admissions & Records office regarding Summer classes that end after July 23.
