Gavilan College Theater Presents Spring Production: The Imaginary Invalid
by on May 5, 2022GILROY, CA – The Gavilan College Theater Program is proud to present their Spring production and original adaptation of The Imaginary Invalid on May 13, 14, 20, 21 @ 8:00 PM, and 2 pm on May 21. This play highlights the comedic genius of Molière. The production juxtaposes period costumes and settings with modern situational dialogue and 1980’s music, making it more relevant and fun for modern audiences.
The Gavilan College Theater Director, John Lawton Haehl, shared:
“Molière was adept at creating relatable characters and situations in which we can see ourselves and laugh at their antics onstage. Our protagonist Argon learns an important lesson – that laughter, and the love of your family and friends, is the best medicine of all!”
Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for students & seniors.
