---Software Engineer Intern Job
Gilroy Technology is looking for a software engineer intern to join our growing engineering team. If you aren’t afraid of a challenge, are curious and prepared to learn, and are self-motivated to get the job done, this might be the perfect internship for you!
Core Functions:
Developing UI in HTML5, JS, CSS, Bootstrap, JQuery
Developing Backend in NodeJS, ExpressJS and MongoDB
Developing Backend in Java/J2EE and MongoDB
Writing and/or re-writing back-end unit tests to increase code coverage
Working with our QA team to further automate our QA smoke test to reduce manual testing and increase reliability
Assist with other engineering activities
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in college
Good JavaScript experience
Excellent time management skills
Java experience a plus
REST based web service knowledge
Eager to work at a fast-paced tech startup
