Graphic Standards
Part I
1. Image or graphic must be high resolution and not pixelated.
2. Choose a background graphic color that compliments the image.
3. Include the logo on all materials.
4. No more than 3 fonts can be used on a marketing graphic, this includes the logo’s font.
5. The fonts must complement each other, be legible, and be ADA compliant. If you are not sure about ADA compliance, contact the Public Information Office.
6. Font colors must contrast with each other.
7. Elements of marketing collateral for printing:

c. Time
d. Location
8. Elements of marketing collateral for social media:
a. Name of
b. Date
c. Time
d. Location (location only if there is enough space)
9. Digital links should not be long, use Bit.ly to shorten them into lower case easy to remember
10. Do not use other organizations' colors and logos without their explicit permission.
11. The college logo can not be altered. Departments can not create their own logos. If you have questions, please contact the Public Information Office.
12. Logo must stand on its own.
Part II
QR Codes
1. Do not use on social media
2. Use only QR codes on printed items
3. Get a free bit.ly account, where you can create a QR code for your shorten link
Moving Graphics, Mini Reels
1. Background audio must complement the image and subject matter.
2. Audio and images must come from a platform adhering to copyright law. Violation of copyright law results in legal action against the college.
3. No more than 25 seconds long.
Use of logo
1. Use blue logo on light background. Use white logo on dark background.
2. Shape of logo depends on open space. For example, use the square logo if your space on marketing materials is limited. Use the line logo when there is a lot of space on your graphics.
