SPAN12A Spanish for Spanish Speakers |
This course is designed for heritage speakers of
Spanish or other linguistically qualified students. It provides instruction that builds upon the existing reading,
writing, speaking and listening skills and the cultural heritage and knowledge of these students. The course will
increase awareness of linguistic registers, discuss items beyond the familiar routine and develop an appreciation
for Hispanic cultures as manifested in Spanish speaking countries and in the United States. This course is taught
entirely in Spanish.
ADVISORY: Basic Spanish reading and writing skills.
