Hope is an exemplary Math instructor who has recently taken on the STEM Grant  Project Director. She has expertly managed the large scope of the grant, mastering budget, projects, time and effort reports, partnerships and federal reporting. Of even greater significance is the leadership she has shown in curriculum development, articulation with area high schools, summer programs such as Summer Academy, Math Boot Camp and summer internships. Hope also has efforts underway to develop Saturday Academies for local students and ultimately, a Robotics Team. Through all this work, Hope has been reliable, pro-active and energetic. She has a vision of the grant for the Natural Sciences Department and the follow through to bring it to fruition. She has made an enormous contribution to Math and Sciences at Gavilan College.
