Student Success – Senators will discuss and develop some metrics for measuring student success at Gavilan College. We will work with our Institutional Researcher and contribute our local model to the statewide discussion on student success via our ASCCC representation. |

Strategic Planning – Senators will discuss strategic planning topics with their departments and bring this feedback to faculty representatives on the Strategic Planning committee. |

Multi-campus Development – Senators will discuss and develop future curriculum and academic programs at Gilroy, Hollister and Coyote Valley campuses. |

Grants – Senators will help facilitate faculty participation in grant seeking, writing, implementation, and assessment. |

Program/Student Learning Outcomes – Senators will discuss with their departments the effects of SLO and PLO assessments. |

PTCOC (Part-time College of Choice) – Senators will revisit and discuss old and new recommendations. |

Information and technology competency for students and faculty across the curriculum – Senators will work with their departments to assess needs, solutions and successes. |

Senate Effectiveness – Senators will discuss how the senate can function more effectively as the body that represents faculty in professional and academic matters. Senators will follow up on implementation of recent recommendations. |

Academic Integrity – Senators will work toward developing a campus culture that actively teaches students about academic integrity. |

GECA – Senators will communicate regularly with GECA. |
11) |
Retreat – Senate will plan and host an annual retreat to train senators and discuss ongoing goals. |
