Strategic Planning – Senators will discuss strategic planning topics with their departments and systematically bring department-generated feedback to senate discussions and to faculty representatives on Strategic Planning committee. |

Gavilan Vision Committee (senate subcommittee) will systematically evaluate all proposals for future campus development (Gilroy, Coyote Valley and San Benito County) to guide the college's academic planning process. |

Program/Student Learning Outcome – Senators will discuss the effects of SLO and PLO assessments. |

PTCOC (Part-time College of Choice) – Senators will revisit and implement recommendations. |

Information competency for students across the curriculum – Senators will work with campus librarians to assess needs and implementation. |

Plagiarism policy – Senators will review and discuss administrative policy. |

GECA oversight – Senators will communicate regularly with GECA. |

Retreat – Senate will plan and host an annual retreat to discuss and set goals. |
