NOTES:
- Continuing students eligible during Priority 1, 2, or 3 registration must be in good academic standing and have less than 100 earned units total (excluding 30 units basic skills or ESL classes).
- Students on probation for 2 consecutive semesters or on academic dismissal may enroll at Priority 5.
- New to college students for Summer or Fall 2016, and who are eligible for Priority 1, 2, or 3 registrations, must have successfully completed an assessment, orientation (Kick Start and GUID 210, 6 or KIN 1) and a comprehensive education plan to be eligible for priority registration. New to college students who have not successfully completed those three components may enroll during Priority 4 registration which starts on May 16.

NOTE: Students must pay for ALL classes, including classes added after initial registration to prevent being dropped from classes during the drop for nonpayment dates listed above. The system shuts down between 2:30pm and 5:00pm on the Drop for Nonpayment Dates. Payments must be made PRIOR to 2:30pm on those days to avoid drop for nonpayment.

All students may go online to purchase a parking permit. Students can print out a temporary permit to use while waiting to receive the official permit in the mail. They will be notified by email when they submit their order, and again the day the permit is scheduled to arrive in the mail. Permit arrives in approximately 7 business days after online order is placed. Students who receive Veterans Benefits or have 3rd party sponsors should contact Mayra Cortez at (408) 852-2840 for special instructions on obtaining permits.
*Students eligible for BOG Fee Waiver or CARES may receive discounted price for permits. See Financial Aid or CalWORKS for more information.

Register Online If:
- You are a continuing student or have been admitted to Gavilan and been issued a Gavilan ID number.
- You have no "holds".
- You have successfully completed course prerequisites at Gavilan College or have been verified though assessment or evaluation of official transcripts from another college.
- You are not in "dismissed" status.
