English As A Second Language ALL CLASSES

ESL 500 Survival English as a Second Language
An intensive listening, speaking, reading and writing course in survival English for speakers with little or no oral or written English competency. Course may be repeated three times for credit. This is a credit/no credit course. Units earned in this course do not count toward the associate degree and/or certain certificate requirements.

ESL 520 Beginning English
This is an integrated skills beginning ESL class which builds on the preceding class, ESL 500. Students have basic English skills. Students' ability in listening/speaking, reading and writing continue to be developed. Course may be repeated three times for credit. Units earned in this course do not count toward the associate degree and/or certain certificate requirements.
