This course is designed to teach prospective teachers how a child learns to read and write successfully in school. Specific techniques will be taught. The history, development and uses of computers in education. Basic computer skills and terminology will be taught in context of teacher education. Students who complete this course satisfactorily will understand the general and specific knowledge and skills required to meet the Technology Standard for Multiple and Single Subject Credential Candidates.
