This 40 hour course includes instruction on basic livestock theft investigation. Breed and brand recognition, individual case studies, rural crime, criminal law, trespass law, expert testimony, Bureau of Livestock ID role and responsibilities, proactive road enforcement in livestock work, crop and commodity enforcement, heavy equipment theft and chemical theft. |

Selected symposia in Administration of Justice topics designed for the in-service education and training of personnel employed by criminal justice agencies. This is a credit/no credit course. Units earned in this course do not count toward the associate degree and/or certain certificate requirements. Course may be repeated 3 times for credit once every 2 years due to significant updating of content as prescribed by changes in law, regulations and procedures. |
