2012 Spring Registration

New Students must file an application with the Admissions and Records Office or the satellite sites at least 5 business days prior to registering.

If you are a new student and plan to take the Placement Assessment Test, please submit your application at least 5 business days prior to your assessment date.

** NOTE:

  • Priority 1, Priority 2 and Priority 3 eligibility criteria include good academic standing (e.g. not on probation for 2 consecutive semesters or dismissal); less than 100 units total excluding 30 units of basic skills or ESL classes.
  • New student Priority 3 eligibility includes successful completion of assessment, education plan and orientation.
  • A "returning" student has been absent from Gavilan College for one school year (3 semesters).
    A new application is required. Not eligible for priority registration.

  1. You are a continuing student or have submitted an application at least 10 business days prior to registering.
  2. You have no "holds".
  3. You have successfully completed course prerequisites at Gavilan College or have been verified though assessment or evaluation of official transcripts from another college.
  4. You are not in "dismissed" status.
