WELD 200 Basic Welding Technology
An introduction to the theory and principles of oxyacetylene and arc welding. The application of the principles of oxyacetylene welding in the flat position. The cutting of metal with the use of an oxyacetylene cutting torch. The practical application of arc welding through the basic application of flat position welding using E6013, E6011 and E7018 welding rod. This course has the option of a letter grade or credit/no credit and may be repeated one time for credit.

WELD 201 Intermediate Welding Technology
Introduction to the theory, principles, and fundamentals of electric arc welding in the vertical and overhead positions using E6011, E6013, and E7018 welding rod. Introduction to the basic theory, principles and fundamentals of TIG and MIG welding. This course has the option of a letter grade or credit/no credit and may be repeated one time for credit.
