THEA 12A | Acting: History and Practice |
An introduction to the historical development of acting as a practice of human cultural expression. Students will acquire a vocabulary for theater performance as an art form and analyze dramatic works in a historical context. Practice of basic acting concepts, character analysis, preparation and performances of monologues and scenes will be required in the course. |
