The Communication Challenge

It is no secret that the key to a successful education is effective communication. What strategies do you have for strengthening communication or for helping to eliminate communication barriers?
Let your voices be heard by engaging in the college-wide Habits of Mind challenge. Share your strategies and thoughts for effective communication. You can work independently or as part of a team. Consider how you would like to spread your message of effective, healthy communication on our campus. Focus on any aspect of healthy communication that interests you.
Get creative! (dramatic presentation, poster, artwork, PSA video, etc.). Presentations will be viewed in terms of clarity, creativity, and relevance to the campus community.
Join in the fun, share your powerful messages, and be the instruments of awareness and change that we know you are.
On December 5th, we will come together to share our communication projects.
All are welcome to join us at this recognition event, from 11:30 - 1:00 p.m. in the student center.
All participants will be celebrated. The winning project will be showcased on the Gavilan College homepage, have their efforts archived on the Habits of Mind page, as well as win up to $200 of Gav Gear per group.
