TRIO, Student Support Services (SSS)

        TRiO, Student Support Services is a federally funded program designed to assist 160 first-generation, low-income, and/or disabled Gavilan College students as they prepare to obtain a two-year degree and/or transfer to a four-year university.

Primary Services Include:

• Academic & Guidance Counseling
• Mathematics & English Tutoring
• Summer Bridge Program
• Personal Support

Secondary Services Include:

• Laptop Lending Program
• TRIO Grants up to $1,000 (Application process in February of each year)
• Textbook Lending Library
• Visits to four-year universities
• Information Workshops
• Cultural & Campus Activities
