Dr.John Lawton Hahel holds a Ph.D in Theatre from the University of California at Davis. He has taught courses in costume design and theatre at U.C Davis and Solano Community College. An award winning designer, his designs include productions for UC Berkeley, UC Davis, Solano Community Theatre, Napa Valley Rep., the San Francisco Actors Ensemble and SRT (Santa Rosa Junior College).He has also been nominated for several artistic awards around the Bay Area for his cosutme design work with Solano College and Solano Youth Theatre. John is very excited about joining the Gavilan community and lives in Morgan Hill with his wife, Kristine.
