2009 Coast Conference South Champs

For the first time, the Gavilan College Women's Volleyball Team has won a share of the Coast Conference South Championship.  After finishing 3rd the past two seasons, the Rams finished the 2009 season 17-6 overall, and 9-1 in the Coast Conference.  The championship was clinched Wednesday night against conference rival West Valley College in a three set sweep, 25-17, 25-15, 25-19.  In addition to the conference title, the Rams are guaranteed their first trip to the Northern California Playoff which will begin next Tuesday, November 24th.  Seeding will take place this Saturday.
