There is still time to register for Spring Semester classes at Gavilan College, but students who want to take transfer-level English and other high-demand subjects must hurry! Several career programs, including Nursing and Cosmetology are already full for the Spring semester. Spring semester classes start on January 26.
Many computer classes are still available, including career programs like the Cisco Networking Academy and Digital Media.
The Cisco Networking Academy prepares students for careers as Network Administrators using Cisco routers and equipment. Digital Media includes web page authoring and digital photography, music, video, and print technologies. Students will have access to state-of-the-art equipment (MAC G5's) in the digital media lab.
Anyone who is 18 or over, or is a high school graduate may register for college classes. High school contract students may register on or after January 12. Students may register in person, or by phone.
