WHO: State Senator Bruce McPherson, chairman of the State Senate Public Safety Committee
WHAT: Will address Administration of Justice students, members of law enforcement, and community members at a 35th Anniversary Convocation. Gavilan College president Steve Kinsella will give a welcome address, and Lt. John Weiss of the Scotts Valley Police Department will also speak.
WHEN: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.,
WHERE: Police Academy Main Classroom, Gilroy campus, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd.
WHY: In honor of the 35th anniversary of the Gavilan College Police Academy, this convocation will be held to discuss the future of Administration of Justice education in the community college system.
