WHO:  Piano students ranging from 5th - 12th grades will be competing.

WHAT:  The Marian Filice Youth Piano Competition provides an opportunity for local young pianists to perform and compete for scholarships, and the winner of the senior division will perform at this year's Bach to Blues concert on March 17th!  

This year 19 contestants are expected to perform two contrasting pieces from the classical repertoire (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or Contemporary), and 26 people will perform during the festival.

Competition:  10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Festival / Concert:  3:00 PM
Award Ceremony:  5:00 PM

WHY:  Marian Filice was a supporter of music and arts education, and she taught piano locally for many years.
