What: "Something for everyone, a comedy tonight," these famous lines by Stephen Sondheim set the tone for this lively and colorful comedy loosely based on the early Roman comedies of Plautus. The musical includes such classic songs as "Everybody ought to have a Maid," "Lovely," "Pretty Little Picture," and the famous theatre anthem, "Comedy Tonight."
Who: Directed by Colleen Chipman from the South Valley Civic Theatre, with artistic direction and costume design by Dr. John Lawton Haehl, the cast features community members and Gavilan students, as well as performances by Gavilan Faculty members Bob Brown and Bill Klipstine (Mr. K., formerly the Theatre Instructor at Live Oak High School).
