WHO: Anyone who would like to earn a certificate in Esthetics (the
provision of skin care, hair removal, facials, and other services).
Students must be 17 years of age, or have completed 10th grade or
equivalent.
WHAT: Can register now for COS 220 "Scientific Skin Care". This is
an introductory, 3-unit course designed to provide the skills
necessary to be employed as an Esthetician. Skills taught include skin
care and treatment, cosmetics, and the use of electrical modalitites.
this course cal be followed by COS 221, Advanced Scientific Skin Care,
in the Spring, for completion of the certificate.
WHEN: The class runs Monday through Friday, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
starting on October 2 and continuing through December 22.
WHERE: Cosmetology building, Gavilan College Gilroy campus, 5055 Santa
Teresa Blvd.
