WHO: Gavilan College Summer Theater Arts Repertory and the San Juan Summer Enrichment program, directed by Javier Hurtado, and co-produced by Marilyn Abad-Cardinalli and Phil Esparza.
WHAT: Present an adaptation of william Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream, A Fairies Tale." The actors range from 5 to 15 years old. These thirty young actors have had three weeks to learn, rehearse, and present the adaptation of William Shakespeare's popular comedy.
This is the first year Summer Theater Arts Repertory has been offered in San Juan Bautista. STAR has been a favorite with Gilroy kids for over 20 years, and has been offered at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center for the past three years.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors (55+), and $8 for children (12 and under)
WHEN: Friday August 12 at 7:30 p.m.; Sautrday August 13 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
