Welcome to the Spring 2008 semester.
Classes started last Wednesday. If you'd like to add a class, you should email the instructor for permission and an add code.
If you're having problems getting into the online classroom, please email us at disted@gavilan.edu for help. Your instructor will start dropping students who haven't logged on, so be prepared.
The last day to drop with a refund is next week, Wednesday, Feb. 13. The last day to drop with no record on your student record is Friday, Feb. 29. Keep those dates in mind if you are trying to decide whether to drop a class.
And good luck to you all.

I hope you all have a wonderful semester!

You might know Etudes, our classroom software. This semester will be the first using Moodle, a newer alternative. If you're in one of our pilot courses, tell us what your think! disted@gavilan.edu
New Page is here.
Hey, this new page is starting to come together. Can I really finish it up and focus on other semester-starting crises?
In other news, people are starting to use a chat room for distance ed users.
That's all for now!
