Study Skills Self Help- Excellent resources are available for students who wish to improve their writing and reading skills. Several suggestions are also provided on how students can improve their ability to concentrate and remember information

Predict your GPA! Why wait to find out what your GPA can be if you already know your grades.

Sites to Promote Academic Success- This site has a lot to offer the student who is looking for information and tips on how to manage their time and prepare for exams. There are also several assessments that can help identify learning style preferences.

Study Guide and Strategies-  (español) - There are many resources on this web site. You will find tips on how to learn with others, how to participate in class, and general study strategies. There are also good links available for those who are working on a project and need some tips on how to organize and research information, public speaking, etc.

Web Sites on Study Skills - This site has many resources for students looking for information regarding learning styles, learning disabilities, time management, reading, memory, test-taking, listening, note-taking, writing essays and research papers.

Study Skills Inventory - Identify areas for improvement by completing an online inventory developed by Virginia Tech Cook Counseling Center. Results of the inventory will help you develop a study skills improvement plan.
