California State Preschool
Program (Full Day)

The California State Preschool Program (Full Day) accepts children ages 3 - 5 years old. Children must not be eligible for kindergarten. The California State Preschool Program (Full Day) operates during the months of Fall through Spring classes, and is based on the current year contract with the California Department of Education.

Ratio	1 adult to 8 children
Room capacity	1 room per 24 children
Hours	7:50am - 4:10pm
Subsidized Care	requires at least one parent to be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units at Gavilan College. (Priority given to students taking 12 units) maintains a "C" average must meet income guidelines and criteria. Fees based on sliding scale (may be free).

Children must be enrolled in full-time care which is 6.5 hours per day.

* Children must be 3 years old by November 1st of current fiscal year (July - June)
