General Child Care
Preschool Program

General Child Care Preschool Program accepts children ages 2 - 5 years old. Children must not be eligible for kindergarten. The General Child Care Preschool Program operates during the months of Fall through Spring classes.

Ages 2 - 5 years old
Ratio 1 adult to 8 children
Room capacity 1 room per 26 children
Hours 7:50am - 4:10pm
Subsidized care Requires at least one parent to be enrolled in a minimum of 6 units at Gavilan College and maintain a C average.
*** Priority given to students taking 12 units ***
Must meet income guidelines. Fee based on sliding scale. (May be free.)

Children must be enrolled in full-time care which is 6.5 hours per day.
