Accreditation Update

Joe reported that the Task Force meeting has been rescheduled to May 19. Art and Ana working on physical resources, Ken Miller and Rhonda Pfenning are working on financials.

Employee of the Month

Steve will be taking staff, who were selected as Employee of the Month (since January), to lunch.

Joe reported that GavFEST was a success. Nicole Medina, ASB representative, submitted a letter of resignation from ASB and President’s Council. Joe responded to Nicole by email thanking her for participating on several committees.

Diana reported that she, Monica Rivera and Cathy Scattini, will be attending the CSEA Conference in Sacramento in August. CSEA will be awarding two scholarships, each $250.

Faculty Senate

Jason reported that faculty is working on committee appointments for the Vice President of Instruction.

A baby shower is planned for Christina & r2row, May 23, 1:30-3:00 p.m. in the Mayock House, followed by a hike on the ridge. A group gift is planned.
