The revenue collected from ASB card sales is used by student representatives to plan educational, cultural, political, and social events for the entire student body, including:

Annual Events:

• March to the Capitol
• Multi-Culti Week
• Holiday fesitivities

Special Visitors:

• Authors
• Speakers
• Artists
• Performers

The ASB card entitles the holder to discounts at many businesses in Gilroy, Hollister, Morgan Hill, San Juan Bautista, Watsonville and Gavilan College. For more information on discounts please refer to the official discount book provided with your ASB card.  Additional booklets are available at the ASB office in the Student Center.

ASB cards can be purchased when registering on Self-Service Banner or in person at the Gilroy, Hollister, or Morgan Hill locations.  As of May 2009, the cost is $6.00 per semester, and includes 100 free Go-Prints.  The ASB Card can also be activated as your Gavilan College library card!
